Bethlehem Firefighters IAFF Local 735 is dedicated to enhancing the safety, working conditions, and overall well-being of our members. We advocate for fair wages, hours, and benefits while promoting unity and collective bargaining rights at all levels. Our mission extends beyond our membership—we strive to strengthen camaraderie among our firefighters and foster public understanding of the vital role we play in protecting our community. Together, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of service and safety for both our firefighters and the citizens we proudly serve.

The Bethlehem Fire Department serves the City of Bethlehem, PA, spanning Northampton and Lehigh Counties. As an all-hazards department, we place a strong emphasis on community risk reduction, fire prevention, and public education. Our members are dedicated to delivering world-class, aggressive fire and rescue services to our community and its visitors. To enhance our frontline response, we have established four specialized teams to handle complex, high-risk emergencies: Hazardous Materials, Bomb Squad, Water Rescue, and Technical Rescue.
